Reduce IOP the #1 cause of Glaucoma by as much as 20% while you sleep
The Savesight Pillow® is a bracing pillow that elevates your head and neck to a >30° upright position while inhibiting unconscious rolling that may occur while asleep.
This upright sleeping position has been clinically shown to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP), the #1 cause of Glaucoma, by as much as 20% at night.
Reducing IOP is the only proven therapy for slowing down the progression of Glaucoma.
Aerospace component design requires exhaustive attention-to-detail. There is no room for error.
The Savesight Pillow® was developed following the same rigors of aerospace design protocol —Form, Fit, & Function
The shape, size, dimensions, or other parameters which characterize the physical look of the item.
The Savesight Pillow® is visibly different. At first glance, you know something uniquely special is going on here—clean engineered lines and space-age design.
The ability of the part or feature to connect to, mate with, or join to another feature or part within an assembly.
The Savesight Pillow® was designed with your comfort in mind. You will love how the built in neck support mates with your own neck's natural curve, as your head rests gently atop the central support's contoured surface.
When the part performs its stated purpose effectively and reliably.
Clinical tests have shown that sleeping in a >30° upright position reduces intraocular pressure by as much as 20%.
The Savesight Pillow® stated purpose is that, when you go to sleep at night your head will be in a >30° upright position, and when you wake up in the morning your head will still be in a >30° upright position.
Night after night, you are effectively and reliably sleeping in the best position to reduce intraocular pressure—the only clinically proven therapy for slowing the progression of Glaucoma.
Take that, Glaucoma!
The founder of Savesight Pillow®, John is dedicated to the wellness of each and every person who suffers from the need to reduce intraocular pressure.
John served in the U.S. Navy Special Forces, and is a Decorated disabled veteran. The Savesight Pillow® was born out of his own need for finding a way to minimize head and neck roll during sleep.
Research led him to an article about the effect of sleeping positions on intraocular pressure, and how sleeping in a >30° upright position reduced IOP by as much as 20%.
Following the medical community’s specifications for lowering IOP while you sleep, John used his 13 years of aerospace experience as a technical advisor, for the design and manufacture of exotic metal engine components, to create the Savesight Pillow®.
" I designed the Savesight Pillow® to help you reduce eye pressure at night, sleep worry free, and wake up to a visibly better tomorrow."
-John Carver
Clinical studies have linked certain sleeping positions to increased IOP, the #1 cause of Glaucoma
In Glaucomatous eyes, the hours spent sleeping on your back may represent a period of increased progression of optic nerve damage, as IOP elevation can be significant.
The greatest increases in IOP occur in the front (face down) position, sleeping directly on the affected eye(s).
Sleeping on either side shows a large increase in IOP with the head turned into the pillow, in the lower positioned eye. Potentially, leading to progressive Glaucomatous damage.
Sleeping in a >30° upright position has been clinically proven to safely reduce IOP by as much as 20%.
Average annual cost for twice daily dosing per eye $559.08
Average cost for laser surgery ranges $1,300 to $4,900
Is this a cure for Glaucoma?
Nope! There is currently no cure for Glaucoma. If anyone tells you that there is, they are lying. However, there are preventative measures that you can take focused on slowing down the progression of the disease. This includes eye-drops, surgery, and the Savesight Pillow ®.
Savesight Pillow®, is this new?
Yes! We just launched, so you are one of the first people to be introduced to the Savesight Pillow ® .
Prior to going public, only a select few within the medical, and medical component manufacturing communities were given an invitation to our club.
Your research into finding a proven Glaucoma therapy has paid off because the Savesight Pillow ® is not sold in stores, it is only available here on this website—Act now!
Can't I use any pillow and get the same results?
It is your eye health we are talking about. If you attempt a do-it-yourself fix at home with regular pillows, it could be a dangerous mistake.
Regular pillows compress the longer you lay on them. Like wedge pillows, they are not designed to inhibit unconscious rolling that may occur during sleep, and are not specifically designed to reduce intraocular pressure.
Remember, once you lose some or all of your sight, it will never come back. It is gone forever.
The Savesight Pillow® is one-of-a-kind and has a Utility and Design Patent to prove it. There is absolutely nothing else like it on the market today.
How do I know the Savesight Pillow® is for me?
Simple, answer these three questions:
Were your answers yes? Then, the Savesight Pillow® is for you, as it may extend or even exceed the benefits of your daytime Glaucoma therapy throughout the night.
What inspired you to design the Savesight Pillow®?
My grandmother, the military, and an ability to do so.
I know first hand the pain of watching a loved one go blind from Glaucoma, it is devastating.
Those feelings were compounded when I read that many wounded warriors were coming back from conflict with eye damage, and that reducing intraocular pressure was a key-factor in whether or not they would keep their eyesight.
Medical articles, stating that sleeping in a >30° upright position had been clinically proven to reduce intraocular pressure by as much as 20%, motivated me to spend two years designing, refining, and manufacturing this much needed invention.
Validation came when I presented my design to the Head of Orthopaedic Surgery for the United States Army, and his immediate response was, "Mr. Carver, how do I order these pillows"? —The Savesight Pillow® was born!
Mr. Carver, how do I order these pillows?
— Colonel Johnson M.D., Head of Orthopaedic Surgery, U.S. Army
A Note from the Founder
Growing up in Nevada, I watched my grandmother, "Grandma Betty" lose everything she loved to Glaucoma, crocheting, gardening, the occasional slot machine, and most importantly, eye contact with those she loved.
Glaucoma completely stole her sight at the age of 67.
For the next 27 years, I watched this amazing woman's life be reduced to sitting in a chair. She never complained, always had a story to tell, and never gave up hope that she would somehow regain her sight.
The Savesight Pillow® came after my grandmother had already gone totally blind.
Would it have reduced her eye pressure enough to help slow down the progression of this devastating disease?
Honestly, I don't know.
It was too late, her Glaucoma Clock had already run out.
